We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Technical Business Developer & Pre-Sales Specialist in the Data & AI domain to join our Portfolio & Global Capabilities Team.
This pivotal role involves providing both technical guidance and advisory services to clients throughout the sales process, ensuring their needs are understood and met with satisfaction.
The ideal candidate for this position would be individuals who have advanced from engineering roles within the Data & Analytics sector to architecture positions and are now looking to pivot towards a more commercial role. This shift would leverage their exceptional client relationship skills, industry knowledge, communication prowess, and ability to demonstrate the value of solutions, thereby facilitating the sales process. Moreover, the role requires empathy and the aptitude to comprehend clients' true needs.
In this role, you will primarily collaborate with two teams: the specialist team responsible for designing and developing the company's portfolio - expressed through value propositions, accelerators, frameworks, demonstrations, success stories, and estimates and plans or project and service packages for clients; and the business team, which leads the company's commercial perspective.
Although this position encompasses the entire spectrum of the company's services in the Data & Analytics domain, the focus for the next three years will be on promoting, evolving, and ultimately selling the Artificial Intelligence portfolio, with a special emphasis on Generative AI.
Responsibilities:
➡️ Business Team Collaboration:
- Engaging in client relationship and retention.
- Participating in the design, evaluation, and monitoring of the commercial plan for the upcoming years by industry.
- Developing and executing sales pitches for the company's various value propositions.
- Showcasing demos and prototypes.
- Coordinating with the company's partners (Snowflake, Microsoft, Databricks, GCP, AWS, OpenAI, etc.) to successfully secure potential projects with clients.
➡️ Specialist Team Collaboration:
- Enhancing value propositions based on client needs or identified issues.
- Identifying clients' actual needs for subsequent phases of the sales process involving more technical profiles.
- Discovering new ideas that could be transformed into value propositions for the company to pursue.
- Estimating and developing technical proposals based on assumptions and guidelines from both the specialist and client/industry-specific consultancy teams.
- Handing over sold initiatives to the development and operations team.
Education:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or another STEM field is preferred.
- Additional education in Data & AI technologies is valued.
- Fluency in English is required.
Experience:
A minimum of 8 years of technical experience, including:
- At least 3 years in presales, solution sales, or as a technical leader in the data sector. Experience in data consulting firms or data & analytics product companies that involve interaction with clients' D&A departments, CDOs, CTOs, etc., is highly valued.
- At least 5 years in technical projects related to Data Engineering or Data Analytics.
