SDG US is looking for a Billing Specialist to join our team out of our Bedminster, NJ Office. This role will report to SDG US’s Finance Manager in addition to the global Billing lead based in Spain for all billing processes. As such, candidates must convey a team-centric focus and demonstrate an ability to effectively collaborate internationally and adapt to a changing structure & environment.

Work type: Recommended 1x per week physically in Bedminster, NJ office location.

Role Responsibilities:

• Collect and record billing and project documents (timesheets, invoices, purchase orders)
• Generate and send out invoices
• Maintain Account Receivable client files and records. Handle cash collection. 
• Interact with clients, business teams and consultants via phone and email. 
• Demonstrates and understanding of basic general ledger entries, accruals, depreciation. Close collaboration with local Accountant. 
• Understanding of GAAP & its applications in these activities. 
• Use Microsoft Excel efficiently as a financial reporting and tracking tool with an ability to effectively apply all mainstream formulas & operations. 

  
  

Qualifications:

• Degree in Finance or Accounting field, and knowledge of US GAAP & Revenue Recognition Principles. 
• Highly organized: able to prioritize and manage tasks and demonstrate willingness to adhere to strict deadlines. 
• Willingness to learn, able to adapt to a constantly changing environment. 
• Excellent communication skills: able to communicate issues and status updates effectively. 
• Ability to consistently adhere to a defined process and document activities in a quality focused manner. 
• Team player. 
• Ability to identify a problem and resolve it in a team-based approach appropriately is critical to success in this role.
