About the Role: Senior Data Analytics Consultant (Power BI)

As a Senior Data Analytics Consultant, you will lead client engagements, translate complex business needs into scalable Power BI solutions, and serve as a trusted advisor to both technical and business stakeholders. You will help drive architectural decisions, guide junior consultants, and ensure the delivery of best-in-class analytics experiences.

What You’ll Be Doing:

-Leading the design and implementation of enterprise-grade Power BI solutions from data ingestion to dashboard delivery

-Architecting data models and semantic layers that support robust, maintainable, and performant reporting systems

-Designing and developing dynamic reports and dashboards using DAX, Power Query (M), and Power BI Service

-Managing stakeholder relationships, gathering requirements, and communicating insights in a clear, strategic manner

-Collaborating with clients on data strategy, governance, and visualization best practices

-Mentoring junior consultants, conducting code reviews, and promoting development standards

-Contributing to solution accelerators, knowledge sharing, and thought leadership within SDG Group

What We’re Looking For:

-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Analytics, etc.)

-3+ years of professional experience delivering Power BI solutions in a consulting or enterprise environment

-Expert-level proficiency with DAX, Power Query (M), and Power BI administration/service

-Strong SQL skills and experience working with structured and semi-structured data sources

-Experience with cloud-based data platforms (Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, etc.) is highly preferred

-Proven ability to lead client engagements and interface with business stakeholders

-Experience in mentoring, training, or managing junior consultants is a plus

-Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to both technical and non-technical audiences

-Strong problem-solving skills, autonomy, and drive to deliver high-quality results
