Position Overview
The Sales Director for Healthcare and Life Sciences is responsible for driving sales revenue growth within these key verticals. This role involves close collaboration with account management, delivery, marketing, and our alliance partners to build new relationships and expand existing accounts. You will position SDG Group as a strategic partner for data and AI transformation, from healthcare insights and R&D to data modernization. This is a hands-on, builder role ideal for a sales leader excited to help scale a high-growth U.S. business.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Strategy: Partner with Account Leaders to design and execute industry-specific account growth plans that achieve revenue targets and open new business opportunities.
 - Executive Engagement: Engage C-level stakeholders to align SDG’s Data & AI solutions with strategic business objectives and develop executive-level relationships across the healthcare and life sciences sectors.
 - Sales Execution: Lead new business pursuits from qualification through close, owning the full sales cycle.
 - Alliance Collaboration: Collaborate with alliance partners (Snowflake, Matillion, Databricks, Microsoft) on joint go-to-market and co-sell efforts.
 - Internal Alignment: Align with delivery and consulting teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from sales to project execution.
 - Forecasting: Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM updates to support organizational visibility.
 
Qualifications
- Experience: 8–10+ years of enterprise or consulting services sales experience in data, analytics, AI, or digital transformation.
 - Industry Expertise: A proven track record of success in both new business generation and account expansion within the Healthcare and Life Sciences portfolios.
 - Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of data management, AI/ML, and analytics use cases, particularly within regulated industries.
 - Collaborative Mindset: Demonstrated collaboration with consulting, delivery, and alliance teams.
 - Entrepreneurial Spirit: A "builder" mindset that thrives in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.
 - Communication: Excellent communication and executive engagement skills.
